One of the most iconic stars of 1990s television, Diane "Jet" Youdale became a household name as the fan-favourite Gladiator on the smash-hit series Gladiators. Renowned for her incredible athleticism, infectious energy, and unforgettable charisma, Jet captured the hearts of millions and remains one of the most beloved personalities from the show's golden era. After a successful career in television, Diane went on to become a presenter and psychotherapist, while continuing to be celebrated by fans around the world.

Welcome Julie Dawn Cole
Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka, and the Chocolate Factory

Julie Dawn Cole is an English actress best known around the world for her unforgettable performance as Veruca Salt in the classic 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. As the spoiled, demanding and instantly recognisable Veruca, Julie delivered one of the film’s most memorable performances, helping create a character that has become a beloved part of cinematic history.

Born in Guildford, Surrey, Julie began her acting career at a young age and went on to build an extensive career across television, film and theatre. Following Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, she appeared in numerous popular British television productions, including Poldark, Tenko, Angels, Emmerdale, Casualty and The Bill, as well as a wide range of other television and stage productions.

Julie has also remained closely connected with fans of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, regularly appearing at conventions, film events and fan gatherings around the world. Her portrayal of Veruca Salt has endured across generations, making her a particularly special guest for fans of classic cinema.
Julie Dawn Cole will be joining Retro Con Wexford on 29th–30th August at Whites of Wexford, where fans will have the opportunity to meet her, hear stories from her career and celebrate her iconic role as Veruca Salt.

The Cast of Allo Allo
Fans of the legendary BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo! are in for a very special treat as three much-loved stars of the series — Guy Siner, Kim Hartman and Richard Gibson — come together for Retro Con.
​
Guy Siner is best known as the flamboyant Lieutenant Hubert Gruber, a role he played for more than 90 episodes, but his impressive career also includes appearances in Doctor Who, The Brittas Empire, Babylon 5, Star Trek: Enterprise, Seinfeld and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
Kim Hartman became a television favourite as Private Helga Geerhart, the memorable and mischievous assistant to Herr Flick, and has also appeared in Casualty, The Brittas Empire, Grange Hill and numerous West End and touring stage productions.
Richard Gibson is instantly recognisable as the brilliantly deadpan Gestapo officer Herr Otto Flick, one of 'Allo 'Allo!'s most iconic characters, and his earlier screen credits include The Go-Between, England Made Me, Wainwright's Law and Poldark, alongside extensive work in theatre, radio and voiceover. Together, Guy, Kim and Richard bring decades of stories, memories and behind-the-scenes experiences from one of Britain's most beloved comedies — and this will be their first Irish convention appearance
